The OnePlus 13T is officially launching on April 24, and the excitement is already building. Ahead of the big reveal, OnePlus has given us a major teaser—its camera system—and it’s got tech fans talking. From what we’ve seen so far, the OnePlus 13T isn’t just another smartphone; it’s shaping up to be a serious flagship contender with a focus on real-world performance and value.

Let’s start with the cameras. Unlike many flagship phones that pack in three or four lenses, the OnePlus 13T goes with a dual rear camera setup. That might sound modest on paper, but it’s all about quality over quantity. The main sensor is a 50MP wide-angle camera, paired with a 50MP telephoto lens that supports 2x optical zoom and up to 4x lossless zoom. That means you can get crisp, detailed shots from a distance without any loss in quality. And while there’s no ultra-wide lens this time around, many users won’t miss it—OnePlus is focusing on the lenses people actually use the most.

Under the hood, the camera system gets a major boost from some serious hardware. The OnePlus 13T uses the image signal processor from Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition chipset, along with OPPO’s latest flagship imaging algorithm. This combination is designed to deliver top-tier mobile photography, and it shows. While the official sensor hasn’t been confirmed yet, it’s expected to be Sony’s IMX966—a highly regarded sensor known for sharpness and vibrant color reproduction.

OnePlus also shared a few sample images taken with the 13T, and they look stunning. Sure, they were captured under ideal conditions, but the level of detail, color accuracy, and dynamic range is impressive. If the final product performs this well in everyday use, photography lovers are in for a treat.

But the camera isn’t the only reason the OnePlus 13T is making waves. Thanks to a recent Geekbench listing, we know it will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset—the same processor expected to power 2025’s top Android flagships. It also features a massive 16GB of RAM, putting it ahead of even the iPhone 16 Pro Max and Galaxy S25 Ultra in terms of memory.

On Geekbench, the 13T scores about 2,900 in single-core performance and an impressive 8,934 in multi-core tests. While that’s just shy of Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Ultra, it beats the iPhone 16 Pro Max in multi-core performance. If you’re into gaming, multitasking, or just want a phone that handles everything smoothly, the OnePlus 13T won’t let you down.

Graphics are another strong point, thanks to the powerful Adreno 830 GPU. Whether you’re playing high-end games or editing videos, the performance is expected to be top-notch. Plus, the OnePlus 13T will run Android 15 out of the box, meaning you’ll get the latest features, enhanced security, and improved software updates right from day one.

Battery life is also getting a major upgrade. The OnePlus 13T is rumored to come with a huge 6,200mAh battery—one of the biggest we’ve seen in a flagship phone. That should translate into all-day (and possibly even two-day) battery life, even with heavy usage like streaming, gaming, or photography. It’s a welcome change for users who are tired of carrying power banks everywhere they go.

In short, the OnePlus 13T looks like it’s checking all the right boxes. It offers powerful performance, a well-thought-out dual camera setup, and an enormous battery—all wrapped in a compact flagship design. While there’s no official word yet on global availability, the phone is launching in China on April 24, and we’re hoping it makes its way to more markets soon.
