All the Exciting Smartphone Launches to Watch Out for in July

by Gadget Explorer Pro · June 23, 2025

July is set to be one of the busiest months for the smartphone industry. From flagship devices to mid-range warriors, almost every major brand has a launch lined up. Here’s a closer look at all the phones expected to land in the market soon.

Poco F7

Poco is making a strong statement with the launch of the F7, arriving in just a couple of days. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, making it one of the best choices for performance lovers. It features a 6.83‑inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering rich colors and crisp details. Under the hood, there’s an enormous 7,550 mAh battery, making it ideal for long usage. Its camera setup includes a 50 MP Sony LY600 main sensor, an 8 MP ultrawide lens, and a 20 MP selfie camera. The design itself is bold and beautiful, with a sleek glass back and metal frame that really stand out.

While it’s too early to review the phone fully due to embargo restrictions, one thing is certain — Poco has packed this device with some very impressive specifications.

Samsung Galaxy M36

Samsung will launch the Galaxy M36 on June 27. Its design closely resembles the M56, making it sleek and slim. However, one noticeable change is the battery. The M35 had a 6,000 mAh battery, while the new M36 comes with a 5,000 mAh battery, which feels like a step backward. The rest of the specs remain strong, with an Exynos 1380 processor, a 120 Hz AMOLED display protected by Gorilla Glass Victus Plus, and a camera setup featuring a 50 MP main lens, an 8 MP ultrawide, a 2 MP macro, and a 13 MP front camera housed in a teardrop notch. The pricing is expected to stay under Rs. 20,000.

Nothing Phone 3

The Nothing Phone 3 arrives on July 1 and is one of the most anticipated devices of the year. This time, Nothing is replacing the glyph interface with a glyph matrix design inspired by Asus phones. Its specs are solid, with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, a 5,300 mAh battery, and a triple rear camera setup. Nothing has promised five years of OS updates. The pricing is rumored to be €800 (around Rs. 80,000), making it a tough sell in the highly competitive Indian market. Even at Rs. 50,000–60,000, it will have stiff competition online. However, with the right offline sales strategy, it could find its audience.

OnePlus Nord 5 and Nord C5

OnePlus is also making moves with the launch of the Nord 5 and Nord C5 on July 8.

The Nord 5 swaps the all‑metal dual‑tone design of its predecessor for a glass and plastic build. It sports a 144 Hz display that supports 144 fps gaming, making it ideal for titles like PUBG Mobile and Call of Duty. Under the hood, it uses the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, ensuring solid performance. Its camera setup includes a 50 MP main lens, an 8 MP ultrawide, and an upgraded 50 MP Samsung JN5 selfie camera. It also has enhanced charging speeds and an upgraded cooling system for better thermal performance. The pricing is expected to stay under Rs. 29,000.

The Nord C5 will adopt a similar design language but uses a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset. It features an even larger 7,100 mAh battery (bigger than the Nord 5) and supports bypass charging. The camera setup is identical to the Nord 5, making this a solid pick for long‑lasting performance. Both phones will ship with 4 years of OS updates and 6 years of security patches, making them great long‑term options.

Samsung Galaxy Fold 7 & Flip 7

On July 9, Samsung will launch its new generation of foldables — the Galaxy Fold 7 and Flip 7. These are some of the best foldable phones yet.

The Fold 7 will be the thinnest Samsung Fold ever, weighing just 215 grams and measuring only 4.54mm when unfolded — even thinner than the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. Its camera setup includes a 200 MP main sensor, the same as the Galaxy S25 series. The long‑standing under‑display camera may also be replaced with a regular selfie camera for better quality. The chipset will be the Snapdragon 8 Elite, and it will ship with One UI 8 and new Galaxy AI features. The battery specifications remain unclear, but an upgrade is highly anticipated.

The Flip 7 will also be thinner, featuring a larger outer screen and potentially using the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. Historically, Flip phones have never used Exynos chipsets, but this year might hold some surprises.

Motorola G96 and G86 Power

Motorola is launching two new phones in early July. The Moto G96 will feature a 6.67‑inch curved PLED display with Gorilla Glass 5 protection, an IP68 rating, and a 5,500 mAh battery. It’s powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 and is expected to be priced under Rs. 20,000.

The Moto G86 Power goes a step further, offering a huge 6,720 mAh battery, a 1.5K PLED display with Gorilla Glass 7i, and both IP68 and IP69 ratings, making it one of the toughest phones in its category. It’s powered by the Dimensity 7300, making it a solid pick for daily use.

Vivo X45 and X200 FE

Vivo also has some exciting phones lined up. The Vivo X200 FE is essentially a rebranded version of the Vivo S30 Pro Mini. It’s a compact phone with a 6.3‑inch display, an impressive camera setup with ZEISS branding, and a massive 6,500 mAh battery. Priced at roughly Rs. 50,000, this phone will directly compete with the upcoming OnePlus 13S.

Meanwhile, the Vivo X45 is set to wow with its design — it measures just 4.1mm thick, making it incredibly slim. It’s also the first foldable phone with an IPX9 and IPX9 Plus rating, making it highly resistant to water and dust. The phone boasts a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, a triple 50 MP camera setup, and a huge 6,000 mAh battery, making it a powerhouse despite its slim design. According to leaks, the phone will be priced at roughly Rs. 1.4 lakhs.

Oppo Reno 14 and Reno 14 Pro

Last but not least, Oppo is releasing its Reno 14 and Reno 14 Pro series.

The Reno 14 Pro will feature a Dimensity 8450 chipset, an impressive camera array that includes a 50 MP main camera, a 50 MP ultrawide, a 50 MP 3.5X telephoto lens, and a 50 MP selfie camera. It sports a 6.83‑inch 1.5K LTPS AMOLED display, a 6,200 mAh battery with 50W wireless charging, and IP68/IP69 durability. Its pricing is expected to be roughly Rs. 50,000.

The Reno 14 will be a slightly toned‑down version, featuring a Dimensity 8350 chipset, a 6,000 mAh battery (without wireless charging), and a similar camera setup except for an 8 MP ultrawide lens. Its price is expected to stay under Rs. 40,000.
